Green Cleaning, Does It Actually Work?

Last year my wife informed that we would not be buying anymore chemicals to clean the house.  Ever the skeptic, I kept my mouth shut assuming that it was just another fad.  One year later I’m a convert to the organically cleaned home.  I learned at least two valuable lessons: 1) You can clean and disinfect with stuff you already have in your home and 2) It costs a lot less.  We use a combination of household products we already own to clean our home.  I never knew that vinegar was an all natural disinfectant and that it actually cleans grease better than most store bought chemicals.  Check out the “household products” link for seven free green cleaning tips.
